Breathing, vite C,

While looking up Dr Pall's protocol, (think he had trouble with NO/Nox reactions and maybe dysautonomia, forget. He put together a list of supps that helped him, and Some were nebulizing glutathione, and list vite c but also be cautious. I tried vite c about age 16 when felt like might get a cold but was afraid to try it as most medicines reacted to. Went for it, the whole 500mg and next day , boom, a cold. So learned for me try in little bits thru out day and see if better.
Dr Pall said be cautious -
to avoid giving high dose ascorbate to those who may have high free iron levels.  In individuals with high free iron, high dose ascorbate is dangerous because it can generate high levels of Fenton chemistry.
So is that bad or good or depends?

Is any of this info was helpful if got covid and would Dr's consider using it, in hospital ?
free iron to prevent it from generating toxic quantities ... When there is a high serum level of reduced ascorbic acid, it drives through the pores of the ferritin ... radical intermediates drove the Fenton reaction. ... of dangerous excess catalytic iron from harmless iron ... single dose of vitamin C releasing so much catalytic iron ...

Iron supplements: the quick fix with long-term consequences

  1. Reseach suggests autoimmune thyroiditis, both Hashimoto's and Grave's, may be associated with an IMBALANCE of iodine and selenium. Both trace elements, along with zinc and iron, are needed for healthy thyroid function and the balance (as in all things) is the key. Just adding either (without balance) may make thyroid issues worse. Currently the ratio is not known but likely it is not less than 500 mcg nor more than 1,000 mcg of iodine and not less than 200 mcg nor more than 400 mcg methylselenocysteine. Curr Opin Endocrinol Diabetes Obes. 2013 Oct;20(5):441-8. doi: 10.1097/01.med.0000433066.24541.88. Review.
  2. Olive Leaf Extract has been clinically shown to increase the conversion of T4 into T3 likely by increasing the enzyme that does the conversion. This may be a very simple way to enhance thyroid function. Effective dose is likely 500-1,000 mg daily. Phytother Res. 2002 May;16(3):286-7
